This is the first time ever Sabah has emerged as the overall winning team in the 44 years of the nationwide Malaysia Table Tennis Championship's existence.Sabah has bagged 3 gold metals,3 silver metals and 3 bronze metals.
By the way,Sabah also became the overall champion in the 20th nationwide Malaysian Table Tennis Youth Tournament a few months back with metals tally of 4 golds,1 Silver and 4 Bronze.
